When I set out to advertise my car, I did not know how I wanted to go about it, and had no idea what methods would be effective, and what ones would not. Think about it from my perspective. If you set out to advertise your car, you might start wit all of the old, traditional methods. I thought the same way. I used fliers all over town to advertise my car, but after a few weeks, that did not work. After that, I asked the owners of a few local businesses if I could advertise my car by putting fliers in their establishment for people to take. When they said sure, I thought that everything would work smoothly. But in fact, I only got a few calls, and none of them seemed all that interested.

Finally, I figure out that the old ways of advertising a car just did not get the results that I wanted anymore. Oh sure, I had know doubt that, if I were to continue to advertise my car through fliers for long enough, I would probably be able to sell it, but it definitely seemed to be a byers market so far. Finally, I had had enough and began looking at the possibilities of using the Internet to advertise my car.

Once I got into the ideal of advertising on line, I was completely gung-ho about it. I used every site that I could find that promised to advertise my car for me. I put up car advertisements on Craigslist at first, since it was free, but then I used other websites as well. There were many sites that would advertise my car in a co-operative manner where, for a small fee, users could look at it along with hundreds of other cars in the area so as to try to get the best deal that they could.

Honestly, I got so many calls right off the bet that I could hardly keep track of them. I can now safely say that the Internet is the only decent way to advertise your car, because the response that you will get is phenomenal. If you want to advertise your car on the Internet, I suggest that you include pictures. When I first started to advertise my car, I left them out, and the responses only trickled in until I added pictures. After that, they poured.
